We have a job opportunity in Hearst Ontario for
Full Time Permanent General Surgeon Notre-Dame Hospital requires a full-time general surgeon. Currently, coverage is provided with locum tenens. We have an exciting project of redesigning our entire surgery department. We believe there is an opportunity to design a surgery deparment adapted to a rural community that will have for mandate to provide surgery services to patients from the surrounding catchment area but also to assist in reducing the waiting times of larger Northern Ontario urban centers. We believe that smaller hospital's surgery departments can develop specialty niche markets. Out-of-the-box thinking will be required and we are looking for a surgeon that will be helping us in this very interesting journey.
